19' Bowrider..needs motor..

Wheres going to be a good place to find a used or reman Mercuiser 3.0 4cyl for somthing like this.  I found this fairly nice bow rider that needs a motor, so i checked Jasper.. They wanted $3400 for the eng - (cash and carry - thats not even installed).  Heck the core was $1500!
Or am i beatin a dead horse on this one...

I got a 20hp Johnson for $200 from these guys.  I know they had a ton of motors on stands that were for sale....

Fresh rebuild - never in the water.  100% complete, he'd like $1,950.00.

I wish I would have known of all the positive responce beforhand.  Unfortunately the auction already ended (and I let her get away from me - price got a little extreme for not knowing if i could locate an engine!)
