Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" Really makes you think what our fighting forces and the people they care for are going through.
If you look at my avatar, it's a photo of a dog named Maggie. Well it's not really her, but it's the closest picture I could find on the net to upload as an avatar. I got her because the couple that were taking care of her were both called up to go fight in Iraq. They couldn't find anyone to take her. My buddy told me about the situation and I gladly took Maggie into my home. I gave them the option to have her back when they returned, but they said it would be both hard on the dog and me so they said I could keep her.
If you see Maggie or me down at Streich during the boating season, stop and say hi. Neither one of us bite!
