What this race is those small boats they kneel in and its held at Menominee Park.  They still go pretty fast and are loud. But its all outboards.  I don't know about a party after.

Originally, Shake the Lake was an APBA sponsored race. Mark Lee originally brought the APBA races onto the Winnebago Waterways.   This race was a points race, and brought in all the big boys, and their hardware.  After a couple of years, the race was moved down to Milwaukee.  Financial matters hurt the races, and it all ended.
Then another group called the OSS (Offshore Super Series) tried getting into that event, but it was deemed not a big enough money maker.  The races where originally held in the break water down in Milwaukee.  They tried working with the Summerfest grounds, etc. but ran into problems.
Now the races are with the duck boats in Oshkosh, and that is it!

Mark Lee coordinated the original Shake the Lake races, and now he works coordinating the Poker Runs in Oshkosh.  If you have any questions, you can contact him at mark@oshkoshthunder.com.
