Marks is excellent....

another favorite is Lake Park Pub, they reopen'd Dec 8th after their fire, we ate their Fri nite....tastee  ;D  (and Jeff makes a MEAN cocktail too!)

I have heard Hanks has a good Prime Rib as well. 
That is in my backyard - So I will have to investigate....

If you ever make it to the Chetek area, you have to get a local to tell you where the "Backwoods Inn," is. 

It's about 15 miles to the east of Chetek, but believe me.  It's worth the adventure.

Best fish fry in WI, hands down.

It's Friday evening Wisconsin - Fish Fry time.

Two places I like when we are in Shawano:
Anello's great overall Friday fry.

and The Corner Bar.  The Corner Bar is west of Shawano on M. The fish fry is very good, and this guy makes a plate of hashbrowns with fried onions and cheese melted in. We run up there once in awhile when I have hashbrown cravings.

As always something to wash it down...............
