Did you hear what the mayor said on the video? Changing his tune now that everybody is in this guys corner.  Glad all the attention helped him be able to stay where he is.

To be fair to the mayor, he was probably sloshed over the weekend and hung over much of yesterday... probably his first chance to get on board. :D

Well, I stopped down there tonite with Jeff.... Let's just say that this guy has such awesome integrity, and his will power is out of this world...  Just the out-pour from the community for this guy is very very very overwhelming and out of this world... I'm so proud to say that I actually went there tonite, and I encourage people to go and say Hi... You will not be dissapointed...   Jeff is actually a decent guy to talk to and his outlook on life is very humble....  He says he is blessed right now with his life and he appreciates the outcome for what has transpired in the last week or so....  I'm so glad I met Jeff tonite, and I hope what happens to him in the upcoming months as the ice thaws, works out for him and wish him all the luck in the world as I will help him in anyway with moving his vessel anytime when needed!!!

I agree with Brad.  Jeff is a very amazing and humble guy, and is willing to help others in spite of his situation.  Meeting him tonight was a privilege and a honor, and very humbling as well.  It helped me to realize even more how blessed we truly all are.  Jeff is the example of how we should all try to help each other, in spite of whatever situation we are in.  The guy may seem a little rough around the edges, but he is one of the best examples of a true selfless Christian I have seen in a long time.  I encourage everyone to take the time to just pay the man a visit.  He will definitely make a impression on you that you will never forget!
