First Ride of the Season

Trucked the sled down to Dane county yesterday and put around 110 miles on.  Trails were awesome for this early in the year.  Everything was groomed and snow cover was good.  By the end of the day they did start to get beat up.

Sounds like we're due for 3-5" tonight and tomorrow.  Maybe the trails will open tomorrow?

Sorry I missed you in Deerfield A-bob. 

So did you head down to Cottage Grove?  Where was lunch, 1855 Saloon or the Outpost?

Got the Perch plate at the Outpost, on special for $5.  Pretty delicious.  Didn't see the 1855 Saloon until I left the outpost, and by that time I had a splitting headache so I went home (and not from all the beer I drank at the Outpost).

Well the next time your down for a hockey game we can check out the 1855 Saloon.  Great place, great food and no smoking!

alright I think we still have the best food in the Grove but you can still smoke at our place however we have a large non smoking area you just cant get there by snowmobile anymore although the Sun Prairie club is working on it
