Brad. Did you yell at the boat when it was making the Big wave in the marina. I find it better to say something than ask people online.

See...we tried that when the couple put the Reserved sign on the dock in Winneconnie the 4th of July.  They ignored us when confronted face to face, so they got called out.

Some people you have to call out on line to get your point across.  (Not directed at anyone currently posting on this thread btw.)

Anyway...on to more important things....if anyone wants to meet up, I'll have the VHF on.  I'm going to launch at Rainbow at about 11:00-11:30 and when Paul gets there we're on our way!

I for one, appreciate when someone tells me that I am doing something wrong while boating.  Its always better to learn that way than the hard way.  As long as the teller tells the tellee in a tactfull way, that is.

Great day on the water.  It was a bit rough on the way W. from Oshkosh to Winneconnie and then again from Winneconnie to the mouth of the Wolf River.  But once we were on the Wolf it was very very nice.

Not having to deal with the slow no wakes was AWESOME.  Paul timed it.  From the start of the Orahula slow no wake zone to the end of of it, about a half mile past Party Dolls, took us 4 min at about 30mph.  I made sure I switched the captain's choice to "open exhaust," on for all the residents to hear....  :-*

Ride back was much smoother, the wind died down a bit around 2-3pm.  Got some pretty good troughs by the weedbeds, but other than that it was very nice with the wind at our backs.

Ran though Oshvegas, saw Brad washing down his Dad's boat at Lakeside, out to streiches just for fun, and then passed A-Bob and gang on the way back up river.

I think Paul took some pics.  My Buddy Mike took some too, but I'm far too lazy to get them off his camera.

Tomorrow it off to Sturgeon Bay!  Whoo Hooo.

I call that the normal mode ;)

A bad day on the water......is better than a good day at work.

I didn't take many photos, mostly just playing around with my waterproof camera.

Heading out of Winneconne.

A little rough but not terrible.

Don't try this angle with your regular camera.
