Youth Hockey Parents
« on: November 26, 2008, 10:34:28 AM »
Are there any Youth Hockey Parents out there that want to tell me what I've gotten myself into?  :D

My youngest son (7 years) just had his first experience with REAL hockey after taking "Learn to Skate" last year and this year taking one 6 week course on "Learn to Play Hockey" at the YMCA in Oshkosh.  Last night he got to practice with the Warbirds (Mites - not the big kids) and he loved it.  So next Tuesday night is when they evaluate the kids to determine which team (by experience/skill set) they will be on.

BS....Hockey parents have to be able to drive all over gods creation in the middle of the winter...regardless of weather.  I think Russ has a very suitable mode of transportation for that (and hauling a bed full of hockey gear...who cares if it snows on that stuff....it stinks anyway.)
