Reminder that there is a Ski Club meeting this Wed. night at 7:30PM at The Bar on Lyndale.

This meeting is our annual apparel show.  Several shops from around the valley will be showing off the latest ski equipment and apparel. 

Meetings are free and beverages are provided as always.  Let me know if you're coming and we can meet up before hand or stick around afterwards.

I'm trying to plan a few weeks in Colorado in February and need some time in locally to get into shape

the one ski spot I'd love to try is Silverton CO - ALL double diamond, one chair for the whole hill, 20' drops, avalanche training/beacon required, etc....the sign at the base starts with 'you can die here today'

I was hoping to stop in and say hi tonight, but now a work meeting and plowing out my apartments takes precedence for tonight.

Silverton is on my "bucket list".  I just found out about it last winter and would like to get out there.  Of course, all the pics from last year's storms are mind blowing and I'm sure when I actually get there, there will be a temperature inversion or high pressure for the entire week before I get there.  That's usually my luck   

Only one westward trip planned for me this year.  I'll be in SLC Utah at the end of January.  If anyone else happens to be in the area, I'd be happy to meet up and make some turns with you.

At the risk of sounding like a salesman... Mt Bohemia is having their $99 season pass sale this Saturday.  At $47 for a day pass up there, it doesn't take long for the season pass to pay for itself.
