When in Oshkosh try Friar Tucks...Very reasonable and tasty sandwiches...Try the Bacon and Cheese Friars....Potato Wedges smothered in Cheese and topped with Bacon...Not on the menu, you have to ask for it.  (not on the water either)

Friar Tucks is awesome. Too bad they closed the Appleton location.

WoodShed has a 10oz burger that's dammed good....and huge....

I have heard Dinos Woodshed burger is pretty good!!

I shoulda had one when I was there wed nite.....did the chicken strips instead.....they're ok, but not great.

Their onion rings are good too (skip the fries...soggy)

Had the best deal ever yesterday.  Red Robbins is opening a new location in Oshkosh.  For the past three days they have been training staff by cooking and serving free food .  I have to tell you that the food was very good, Burgers with a "Whiskey River" Bourbon sauce were very good, I had a Crispy Chicken Salad and there was a Seafood dish that was excellent also.  Sadly, once again it is not on the water, but if you are looking for a place to eat in Oshkosh, give them a try.

I think you get the best bang for your buck at  The Black Otter........way to much food and very inexpensive.......
