I gotta say I'll be out.  Hazel's starter isn't back yet, and I'm trying to get a swimplatform refinished for her.  :'(

Have a beer for me out there!

Anybody get wet today?    We had a couple of good showers here, breif, and nothing to spoil a day, but rain non the less.

No, but it was a great day.  I got to spend the entire day with a world class, professional VW/Porsche race car driver.

Some of you know my hobby priorites go....racing....boating....(strippers,)....everything else....lol.  Well, today was a highlight of my racing enthusiast history.

I litterally got to spend a day with one of the premier road racing guys in "my world,"  Super down to earth guy, super cool, and we quickly realized that we had more in common than we originally thought when I called to have his shop install a flash program in my Audi TT for performace reasons.

Long story short, it was a strange day filled with concidences that just don't happen on a "regular," day.

I hate to say it, but I'm glad I wasn't on the water today.

In other news, I also got a call the the Lazers lower unit shipped yesterday!  Should be installed and on the water in 2 weeks!!!!!

Yep!  High Cliff, Oshkosh, Waverly and back to High Cliff. The western side of the lake was nice. 3' rollers on the east side of the lake. Lets just say the 230 was airborne at least three times and Brad still has his finger prints gripped into the oh $hit bar. lol! ;D ;D

We got a call from Paul & Mary saying that they were out there for about an hour and were getting the snot pounding out of them.  I was pretty content sitting on my boat drinking beer at the marina.  Which is pretty much what I did all afternoon . . . I did manage to put an item or two away here and there but it was mostly beer-30. LOL

Mark HAD to go for a Cuban so we took his tub (Matt's old Silverton) across the lake for supper.  Freaking lake flies were just NASTY on that side of the lake.

Yup. We ran up to Streich's and anchored for an hour or so. The run up wasn't bad, but the wind just kept getting worse.
I was impressed with how well our new Box anchor held. We didn't drag at all, even with 30+ gusts. There was only one other boat that stopped in there. A 30~ish blue & white Chapparal "Nauti Kids II". They tried to get their anchor to hold for about 1/2 an hour then gave up and headed back towards Oshvegas.

The run back to Fondy was nasty. We couldn't find a speed that didn't throw up huge clouds of spray. By the time we got back we were soaked. At least it was warm out.

On the down side it looks like I'll be putting a new alternator in this week. A screaming sound, 18+ volts and a burning rubber smell can't be good. :-\

I bought a nice wrist strap from Tres Martin Performance.

We got there around 12:30-1:00 range and left at around 2-2:30 I think. 11:30 we were just launching in Fondy.
Next weekend is looking really good weather wise (knock on wood!).
We're planning on being out from Friday afternoon till Monday.
