You are looking in the wrong place. The post you are talking about is on
the food reviews section of the site.  And since we are on the subject,
I have not taken things off the site because of someone's comments. Ever.
You have the right to post your thoughts. That's what the board is all about.
I will go to bat for The Vault - not because they are one of our advertisers but because the people that work there are good hearted and hard working. 
Without advertisers this page would not stay up. This site is alot of work without alot of rewards.

I have had the chance to get to know the owner of The Vault (Chris).
He is a stand up guy and has had some tough breaks with employees.
He is working a full time job, owning/managing the restaurant and being the cook, bartender, floor sweeper, etc.  He is trying his best.  What Mike did on posting a review under the radar
was not a good choice. Chris is working on some of the issues that have been brought up. So, cut the guy a small break. He is not trying to be someone he is not. He is just trying to keep his business alive and do the best job he can with what he has.  Much like most of us.

I understand the whole bit of trying to succeed and making something work... But when the manager who posted the review couldn't reply back to the few of us that were oviously disturbed by his antics... That bothers me and makes me wonder what else is shady about that place... I personally have told people to go somewhere else because he could'nt be up-front of the situation.... I really hate poor customer-service and he personally should know what he did was wrong but he decided to stay back in the weeds and yess I'll say it again Be someone your not because I'll go to Naut's, Menasha Grill instead... That's just my opinon I guess........

I'm certainly willing to give them another shot.  Again, my expecations were based on that rave review.

Our favourite place is still Menasha Grill.  We love the food and have never had a bad experience there yet in over 2 years of fairly regular patronage.  Just ask Kim how often he serves us there!

As I stated in my other post, since I live in Menasha I my hope is to see downtown businesses do well so that other businesses will choose to locate there.  It tough for a small downtown area like Menasha to compete with Appleton, I realize that.  I am willing to support Menasha businesses but it goes both ways!  They need to go that extra mile to keep people coming back.

I see both sides and I aplaud you for not removing the posts.  But I have to say that the Mgr was wrong for doing what he did (owners consent or not.)  Now someone who I'm sure didn't need the negitive PR is stuck with it.

To make up for it, I'll stop by the Vault for dinner and draw my own conclusion and post it here.  Good or bad.  I'll honestly try and keep an open mind.
