SpeakEasy Toys for Tots fundraiser
« on: November 30, 2005, 09:21:35 AM »
This Saturday, December 3rd, The Speakeasy is hosting our 3rd annual
Toys For Tots fundraiser.  $1 from each "bomb" shot and injector shot
purchased will be used to buy toys which will be donated to Toys for
Tots.

Last year we raised almost $600 with your help, let's see if we can do
even better this year.

As we do every Friday and Saturday night, we'll have $1.50 domestic
bottles from 8-10 pm and half price appetizers from 5-9pm.

Here's a chance to do some good and have fun at the same time.  Hope to
see you there.

The Speakeasy.  Good times, great food.
Are we having fun yet?

Brian - I actually just saw this and I now it is in the past but for this next year I would love to be involved in this.  I am on the committee still in Chicago and we do 3 fundraisers a year for Toys for Tots.  We do a motorcycle ride in the spring, a softball game of police vs. fir departmen in the end of the summer and we do a black tie the first Tuesday of every December with a silent auction and also raffle tickets for prizes.  I am in charge of the fundraising and getting the businesses to cough up gift certificates for the auction and raffle.

please let me know if you would not mind me helping out.  This is one of the best organizations to be involved in.  We even have Toys r Us down there shut down for the day after the black tie so we can go in with the Marines and shop for the toys for the kids and they give us a 30% discount.
Mess with a bully and you'll get the drool!
