Ski Event???
« on: November 29, 2005, 07:16:12 AM »
Would anyone be interested in a downhill ski event?
We could get a bus and head to michigan?
Cost would be around $60 a head...
Includes: Transportation, Lift Ticket,
Lunch on the Hill, Lessons if needed. Rentals would be extra.....
Are we having fun yet?

When? Where? Count me in, I could use the practice before my trip.

My Wife and I are in for skiing.

I like Whitecap in big snow country.

If you interested in skiing with groups of people for cheap, check out the Sly Fox ski club in appleton.

http://www.focol.org/slyfox/

We meet once a month and go on about 10 trips a year.  Everything from day trips, to Europe once every other year.

There is a club in Green Bay called Gelandesprung.  We do trips together.

Last year Kerri and I went to Steamboat, this year to Jackson Hole with the club.  Both trips were about 600 ea, for 4-5 nights lodging, 3 days skiing, airfare, couple meet and geets, and other events.  Plus skiing with a great group of people.

We're a drinking club with a skiing problem....lol.

Most are over 30, average age is 45ish.  Good clean fun, without the 20yo attitude.

One of the guys is a WWII Bomber Pilot....very cool stories, and still ski's moguls with me!!!

Are we still thinking of doing this?

We could head up to Rib Mt in Wausau.  Tue nights are two for one lift tickets....best $15 you can spend on an evening of skiing!
