Weekend of 7-28, 29

I "should," have the lower unit back on the Lazer this Fri or Sat.  I'm thinking of sea trial on Sun so I know it's solid for the Winnebago Rally.

What's everyone up to?  Looks like it's going to be a great weekend.

Lisa is going there for a few days/nights taking some class.  She is getting an certification in white board education.

In our home in the study we have a ‘wall of fame’ with various framed diplomas, certifications, licenses, certificates of honor and such.  Her side is fuller.  I’m dreading the day she asks to hang something on my side since I have more room.

I'm having the camper canvass zippers fixed on your NEXT boat.  They should be done by the weekend. 

Better hurry up man, Tracy was cocktailing last Friday so we HAD to look at BIGGER boats (it was her idea so it was OK, if it was mine it would of been a dumb idea). LOL

We take a long weekend every year to see either Buffett or Dave Matthews at Alpine.  We spend all day Friday on the water and most of Saturday before the show.  It's neat to see the houses and the vast collection of old woodies cruising the lake.  Talk about $$$$.

One of the most interesting things to see are the boats that are slipped at the Abbey in Fontana.  I think they have over 200 slips and I would be willing to bet at least 50 to 60 of the boats can never leave the marina because they are too tall to fit under a bridge between the marina and the lake.

It's a mess.  Apparently the drive I gave them isn't as usable as the seller let on.

WEAK!    Does it look good for the rally?  Or should we save a couple of spots on the Hazel B?

I just called last week to Party Doll.  They still have a 6 sleeper available for the 3 day weekend.....   Might be nicer then a tent (and I'd have room for a couple of the half barrels...).  Also MIGHT have a reasonable / social / nice couple that would split it w/ ya.   Food for thought.
