Breakfast????
« on: May 18, 2007, 07:36:17 PM »
Your fav. place for Breakfast on a Sat or Sun morning is?

Personally I like a little greasy spoon diner.  A Mom and Pop type place as compared to a chain.

My Favorite is Bradkies just off the hwy 41 and main street exit.  Just look for the classic EAT sign.

If you order 2 eggs...you get 3.  Get the Corn Beef Hash!

True North and I are checking out the Thrid Street Diner in Menash on Sunday before we head to Road America for the races.  I'll report back.

Hungry Bull in Menasha.  I don't even know if they're open anymore, but there was never anything better than great food and horrible service when your're hung over  :D

We also prefer the unique local places to eat rather than the chains.  The chains all look and taste alike and their menus are mostly the same.

I thought the breakfast at Third Street diner was pretty good.  You certainly get lots to eat and decent prices.  I'll wait to see what Corey thought!

Sort of forgot to write back....lol.

I thought the food was good.  I wouldn't say it was exceptionally great, but it was a good breakfast.  John, I actually thought the american Fries were lacking a little bit in the quantity department.  Maybe I'm just use to Bradkies?

I'll go back again.  Especially since its RIGHT on the way out of town for the races.

The best breakfast is at Pine Grove over in Fremont -- the corned beef hash with eggs over easy -- (number 4.2 or 4.3 if you want 2 or 3 eggs, I like them over easy but she'll make 'em however) It's the best corned beef hash ever, had it three days in a row over the Labor Day weekend. That's all we do is talk about Sheri's corned beef hash for years now, I crave the stuff  :-*

Have to go with the pepperoni omelet at the Delta in Oshkosh!  Don't forget the hashbrowns with cheese and onions. ;D

We ate at the Delta on Sat. AM.  I just had my standard fare 2 eggs over medium with toast, ham and American fries.  It was very tasty other than that they used caned ham.  But they know how to make a breakfast, that's for sure.

I'm not big on Omelets...just a personal preference.  But Mary seemed to enjoy her Peperoni Omelet that we had at your recommendation.

The Delta was really good. I tried a bite of Mary's pepperoni omelet and it was tasty. I had the smoked pork chop. Very good.

Other places I like for breakfast are the Wolf River Diner in Fremont and the Arrowhead Resturaunt in Winneconne. I agree with Cory, nothing like a good greasy spoon diner for breakfast.
