The Vault Lounge in Menasha
« on: May 18, 2007, 07:47:22 AM »
The Old Bankroll, (Jacks Or Better) in downtown Menasha has reopened and I think somebody finally GOT IT, The new name is The Vault Lounge, they are only serving food on Friday nights but it is good, a few kinks to work out yet, but worth the trip.  They have Happy Hour Monday -Friday with snacks, the drinks and bartenders are great, atomsphere is awesome!!The owner Chris is a really nice guy. Check it out. Also boater friendly!!

I don't think you will be sorry, we ate there last Friday and for three of us our bill was only 40 bucks, had broiled scallops, broiled haddock and the perch!!! Look for the owner kinda of a big guy with blonde hair.

I would have to agree with Shannon.  We have been loyal patrons since they have opened.  I have never been to a place that caters to what every guest (customer) needs or wants.  The food is out of this world good, and I can tell you that you will not leave hungry and will most likely be bringing something home.  The crab cakes are second to none.  I can honestly say that I have never had any better.  The staff is in tune with your needs and strive to make sure you are having a great time.  The smoked and grilled meats are fork tender, All of the seafood dishes rival 5 star quality.  This new approach they have put together will last a long time.
The upstairs will be opening this weekend for its first banquet (09/22/07).  They are looking for more bookings, so if you are in need of a large room to host your next shin-dig, this is the place to have it!!!!!
The bartenders are alot of fun and make sure your drink is always full.  There are almost too many different types of drinks to choose from, including some that have been created by the owner, Chris Donner.   Depending on the crowd at the bar, try getting the bartenders into a good game of "I Never".  that is always entertaining!!
The Vault is a great place to relax, have some great food, and enjoy a couple drinks.  They will last a long time in Menasha and be successful.

Gee it's funny that the last few "negative" posts about this restaurant all of a sudden dissapeared on here..... The so "called" manager didn't want to step up to the plate and reply to the negative posts that were targeted at him.. I guess hiding back in the weeds was a better option for him... It was said on here beofre and I'll say it again  WEAK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's still there, this is just a differnet post.  But because bad Karma should follow you around....I again post my objections:

I can honestly say how bothered I am to read this review.  I am the manager of The Vault and this is not how we do business.  I am not going to make ANY excuses for what happened.  We strive to make every guest feel like home so they can have the best experience possible.     It is disappointing to hear that several new people come here based off recommendations and we failed to come close to meeting their expectations.  We are a new business that is doing our best to make sure we are here a long time.  I hope that we area able to get a second chance.  Once again I apologize for what happened I hope we will earn your business in the future.

So you wrote the above raving review as if you're a patron and you're the manager?

Weak.

I told some friends that were in town last weekend for the packer-game and was wondering where to get a good meal... I told them Menasha-Grill and Naut's and stay away from the Vault..... Making a drink there was a struggle for them oviously....
