Fond du lac, Wisconsin on the Lake Winnebago system is another area to go and explore. The large and very impressive Lakeside Park offers four launch ramps;
 two launch ramps for larger craft and a full- service marina. With seasonal rides which include bumper boats,  canoes, a carousel, hydrobikes, a mini-train, and the 
roto-wip, this is a kid's paradise or to bring out the kid in you. There are plenty of places to stop and have a picnic or just to sit and enjoy the great scenery. Make sure
to check out the 40ft. high Fond du lac lighthouse that was build back in 1933. Dock at the marina and take the short walk to go and get some ice cream at the A&W 
rootbeer stand. Or stop into Salty's Seafood & Spirts or Buster G's for lunch or dinner.  You can also take the boat a little  north of 
the Fond du lac Marina to Schmitty's Oar House Bar & Grill.
